- The internship you are choosing must be relevant to your field.
Duration:
- Spring/Fall: 12 weeks
- Summer: 8 weeks
Working hours:
- During Semester: 20 hours per week
- During Vacation: 40 hours per week
Note:
- If you’re a Graduate Assistant working 20 hours a week on campus, you can’t work off-campus. But you can balance it by splitting your time with 10 hours on-campus and 10 hours off-campus.
- Remember that Part-time CPT has no time limit.
- 12 months of full-time CPT disqualifies you from OPT.
